Logistech – Logistics, Storage and Technologies Fair, organized by İZFAŞ for the first time this year; It opens its doors tomorrow (Thursday) by bringing together all the stakeholders in the sector at fuarizmir. While the logistics industry, the driving force of exports and imports, will come together with Logistech in fuarizmir, panels and seminars will also be held with the participation of representatives of associations and non-governmental organizations and academicians.

Organized for the first time by İZFAŞ, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, Logistech-Logistics, Storage and Technologies Fair will be held in fuarizmir between 29 September-1 October 2022. Organized for the first time this year in line with the vision of İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer's vision of bringing İzmir to the fore in world fairs and making it the logistics epicenter, Logistech brought together all the stakeholders in the sector. With Logistech; It is aimed for İzmir to become a trade and logistics center in the Mediterranean basin, to become an international port city, to develop the sectors that trade by sea and land, and to support employment. To the fair; many land, sea, air and railway logistics companies, port operators, warehousing, prefabricated production and cold chain, information technology and automation companies, e-commerce service providers, trucks, tow trucks, forklifts, etc. transportation vehicles companies, cargo transportation equipment companies, banks, insurance and customs clearance companies, sectoral non-governmental organizations, fuel companies and sectoral publishers are participating.

Contribution to the city and country

The profile of the visitors of the fair is expected to be logistics and supply chain, information technology professionals, relevant public managers, senior managers, investment decision makers, packaging service providers, 3pl / 4pl service providers, container freight service providers, agencies and forwarders. It is expected that the synergy to be created by Logistech, which offers its exhibitors and visitors an experience where the entire supply and need chain of the logistics sector is together, will increase the logistics performance of İzmir and the Aegean, open new roads to the city and our country in the maritime and logistics sector, and contribute to the economy.

Seminar, panels and exhibition are also included

During the fair, events, seminars and panels, and the Maritime Documents and Antiques Exhibition are also held. After the opening ceremony on the first day of the fair, the "Presidents' Panel" will be held in the afternoon, moderated by Yusuf Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMEAK Chamber of Shipping İzmir Branch. At the panel, UTIKAD Chairman of the Board Ayşem Ulusoy, TÜRKLİM Chairman of the Board Aydın Erdemir, DND Chairman of the Board Şükriye Vardar, DEFMED Vice Chairman of the Board Bülent İbik, UND Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Fatih Şener will take place as speakers. On the same day, Yaşar University Logistics Department Head Prof. Dr. In the "Logistics Through the Eyes of Exporters" session moderated by Yiğit Kazançoğlu, EİB Secretary General Cumhur İşbırakmaz, EMİB Former President Mevlüt Kaya and Sape Spice Planning and Export Team Leader Ramazan Serbes will be speakers. On the same day, the session of “İzmir Province and Historical City Center Kemeraltı Logistics Plan” will be held. On the last day of the fair, Dokuz Eylül University Maritime Faculty Logistics Management Department Head of Supply Chain Management Prof. Dr. Okan Tuna will give a speech titled “Digitalization in Logistics”. In addition, sessions on “Air Cargo as a Mode of Transport in Turkish Exports” and “Hazardous Goods Logistics in All Modes of Transport” will be held.
